Apple today announced that in less than 48 hours since its launch on Wednesday, more than one million users have joined Ping, its new social network for music. Ping lets users follow their favorite artists and friends to discover what music they’re talking about, listening to, and downloading. “One-third of the people who have downloaded iTunes 10 have joined Ping,“ said Eddy Cue, Apple’s vice president of Internet Services. “As many more people download iTunes 10 in the coming weeks, we expect the Ping community to continue growing.“

The new iPod Nano
Steve Jobs has just introduced the new iPod nano. It is half the size of the old one and it has a touch screen.
WhatsApp for Smartphones
WhatsApp Messenger is a smartphone messaging app which allows you to exchange messages with your friends and contacts without having to pay for SMS. All you need is internet connection :) It is far more functional than BBM by means of sending and receiving videos, voice records etc. Plus, it is a cross-platform application which makes it best of its kind.
It is available for iOS, BlackBerry and Nokia Symbian OS for now and it will be available for Android OS soon. I already have 48 people in my list and I rarely use the usual SMS.
